The Analysis for Innovators (A4I) programme has opened a new round
Analysis for Innovators (A4I) is a funding programme that helps UK SMEs overcome complex measurement, testing and analysis challenges by providing access to world-class expertise, specialist facilities and scientific knowledge from leading UK measurement organisations, including NML. Through collaborative projects lasting between three and nine months and valued at £15,000 to £100,000, businesses can work with experts to improve products and processes, reduce costs, demonstrate compliance and unlock new market opportunities.
As a delivery partner in the programme, NML encourages eligible SMEs to apply and take advantage of this opportunity to access specialist measurement expertise and facilities that can help accelerate innovation and business growth. The current funding round opened on 15 September 2026, with Stage 1 applications closing on 6 October 2026.
